Health Coverage in California at a Glance
Each year ITUP releases Regional Health Coverage Fact Sheets for its ITUP Regional Workgroup (listening session) locations. These publications are overviews highlighting key coverage facts county-by-county. The “Coverage at a Glance” fact sheets include data on the race/ethnicity breakdown of counties and among the uninsured. These fact sheets also offer graphics and a breakdown of yearly state/county enrollment in Covered California and Medi-Cal, including enrollment by health plan and fee for service.
The ITUP “Coverage at a Glance” fact sheets also include and highlight which Managed Care Plans in each county are providing Community Supports in correspondence with the implementation of the California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM).
ITUP is currently hosting the 2023 Regional Workgroups that bring together regional health and health-related stakeholders to gain local insights on Medi-Cal redetermination efforts. In addition to gaining insights on redetermination effort impacts on coverage, ITUP wants to hear from you, the local leaders enhancing better health for your communities, on the policies and practices impacting the communities you serve.
