2021 ITUP Virtual Regional Workgroups

ITUP continued a statewide conversation on last year’s topic of the COVID-19 pandemic. ITUP convened local leaders to discuss updates on the COVID-19 response, including vaccination efforts and further mitigation activities. As California moves through the pandemic, ITUP engaged with the local and regional health ecosystem in a discussion on what a post-pandemic health system could and should look like.

As the pandemic continues to impact California communities across the state, it is important to continue to highlight the lessons learned and challenges that lie ahead in 2021 and beyond. This timely topic focused on the innovative solutions employed to combat barriers overcome during the pandemic, and focus in on how to use those lessons to transform the health care system.
