Addressing Broadband as a Social Driver of Health  

Telehealth, health data sharing, and future health care innovations have the potential to create a health care delivery system that better serves California communities. Unfortunately, a lack of broadband and connectivity remains a significant barrier for such health care tools to meaningfully improve access to and quality of health care for many Californians.  

In this interactive webinar, ITUP highlighted how LA-based health partners are navigating broadband and connectivity in their work and elevate opportunities to address the digital divide in LA County. 

The ITUP LA Health Collaborative meets twice a year and brings together safety net stakeholders and local health care leaders in LA County. More than 100 attendees benefit from program updates and consider emerging issues and challenges in a webinar format.
