As California expanded CalAIM’s justice-involved Medi-Cal benefit, in this policy forum we unpacked the social forces behind incarceration, explored effective interventions, and highlighted community-led strategies that support reentry and reduce recidivism.

In this webinar, we:

    • Examined critical social and structural barriers contributing to increased incarceration and the impacts on community health.

    • Explored actionable and effective interventions that strengthened reentry solutions and improved outcomes for vulnerable communities.

    • Shared access to current community-informed models that effectively reduced recidivism and supported justice-involved individuals.
