Be part of the conversation! ITUP regional workgroups bring together local leaders for constructive dialogue and creative problem solving. Get the latest updates on state and federal health reform and share local challenges and best practices.
ITUP relies on the workgroup findings to inform its policy work and future convenings, including the ITUP annual statewide conference held every February in Sacramento. (See ITUP Notes from the Field 2017, highlighting workgroup findings on immigrant access to health care.)
This year, the workgroups will focus on:
- Behavioral health integration and improvement. Workgroups will consider local successes and challenges related to integration of health, mental health and SUD treatment. Check-in about local implementation of the Drug Medi-Cal – Organized Delivery System waiver and other local innovations and successes.
- Health Reform in California. Workgroups will share and discuss federal and state reform updates, including state efforts to cover the remaining uninsured and stabilize the individual market.
