Data Exchange Framework Bootcamp: Driving Health Equity with Data Exchange

View Final Agenda

Thank you for joining ITUP’s Executive Director, Crispin Delgado, for a highly interactive Data Exchange Framework Bootcamp: Driving Health Equity with Data Exchange on Thursday, November 2nd from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.!

Effective widespread data-sharing is vital to enable care coordination for better patient care, improve health outcomes and clinical decision-making, and ultimately advance health equity for all Californians. The Data Exchange Framework (DxF) is California’s first-ever statewide data-sharing agreement (DSA) intended to provide a governance structure to privately and securely exchange important health information across health care providers and organizations, government agencies, and social service programs throughout California. Learn more about DxF here!

This event brought together local health ecosystem stakeholders, including clinics, community information exchanges, and community-based organizations, to collaborate and learn together about:

  • Funding opportunities, including how to leverage umbrella grants with trading partners, to implement the DxF;
  • The DxFs impact on internal operations; and,
  • Technical mechanisms for exchanging data under the DxF.
